I woke up and I did meditation, than mantras then breakfast and then 160 push ups.. 4 sets of 40 and then I made more flash drives, started working to finish up the SLC Workshop(All I have to finish is find the location) and went out to organize my sprinter van and now I’m gonna write. I don’t know why but I feel like my day incomplete if I don’t wrote something. I love writing. Maybe it’s because I feel pressured to talk when I’m around others and the real me is quite. I can say things when I write and it flows and I don’t have to use my voice. And I’m probably miscommunicating here a little because I do like to talk. I just don’t like to talk that much and if you get to know me you’ll see when I’m not in a teaching or shooting or social setting I’m quite.
Another thing about me is I mess up sometimes. I’m not always kind. I’m not even always nice. I would say most of the time I am but I have my moments where I’m not. I’m still working on myself and If I look back over the last few years I’m really happy with where I am and where I’m going!
Here is the thing. I learn so much from my friends and the people I know and watch. I can’t take a lotta credit for who I am because I feel lucky to know some amazing people. Some of them are friends, some are acquaintances, but I got really lucky because I ended up hanging around a lot of great people.
And that’s what I’m getting at today. I believe with all my heart that we are products of our surroundings. We are products of Nature and nurture. This is one reason I made a decision to distance myself from certain people and industries. This is the reason I make my bed every morning and I asked my mother to give me cleaning lessons, cause when it comes to cleaning she’s a bad ass!
So expect a lot more from myself lately and if you are in a place where you’re not happy, I can tell you what I learned.
We are what we surround ourselves with. We are the equivalent of the people we hang out with and we what we eat and drink and see and believe.
if you’re not happy don’t try to change it all at once. Change one thing at a time.
My mentor gave me advice a few days ago and what he said is.
If you’re in a depression or really sad you can’t expect yourself to change and be completely happy the next day. Just try 5 minutes of happiness. Work at 5 minutes of happiness for a week and then next week take it up to 10.
I offered this thought to a friend who struggles with depressions and she thought it was great so,, Idk.
I love helping people grow and become better.
I had to and I believe everyone can change when they are ready.
Also, if I was mean to you this week I am sorry. I’m sending out a few apologies.

Ikon Republik- I live and travel in a frickin van and I love my life! I founded a magazine, VEGA Magazine. My magazine is full of beautiful nude women and its based around the idea of respect and soon it will include amazing articles on how to improve your life! Out of the last 8 months, I have spent 4 of them living in the desert, under the stars and cooking over a campfire that was made with two sticks and a bow. I believe in self sufficiency and integrity. Now you know a little about who I am. I’d love to know more about you!
